Weekend recap

So this past weekend was a long one! We were off Thursday because it was our 5 year anniversary! I am absolutely so happy in love with Brandon I feel like it was just yesterday he asked me to be his girlfriend :)

Thursday we took a day to ourselves and our sweet babies and we headed to the beach! Now we live in San Antonio so the nearest beach is a 2 hours drive. We went to Port Aransas! We got to ride a ferry to the island and that was interesting since our dogs were smelling all of the ocean scents! Once we arrived on the beach the dogs took to liking the seaweed and Suze rolled all over it! Luckily they didn't care much for the water and they just slept on the sand while Brandon and I went in and were being kids again and jumping the waves. It was an amazing feeling to be able to just enjoy ourselves with no worries about anyone else! We definitely enjoyed ourselves. We had a romantic lunch which consisted of ham sandwiches and chips ahoy cookies for dessert! We were so tired from the day when we got home we showered and went straight to bed! We slept from 11pm til noon the next day!

Friday we headed over to our friends Tasha and Adrian's house and met the newest member of their family Adrian jr! He is the cutest thing I've ever met! And I love him so much! We spent a good amount of time there then we came home watched Fools Rush In and went to bed.

Saturday was eventful! Again we went to their house but this time we bbq'd and went swimming. It was fun because I had Leah with me. She was hesitant at first to get in the water but after a while she didn't want to get out! We didn't leave their house til around 12:30am since I was holding baby Adrian while Tasha took a little nap before she had to wake up and be a mom again! And that also gave Adrian a break from being a dad as well! When we got home we were way too tired to function so we went straight to bed.

Phew! My weekend was pretty busy but so enjoyable! I hope you had a great weekend too!
