Make a Rainbow Cake!

This past week two of our good friends, Jenn and Jacob, got their first apartment (which is super cute!) and they had a housewarming/birthday party for Jenn. So naturally I was all for it and told her we should bake a cake for her! She had made some rainbow cupcakes before so I suggested a rainbow cake. Which was actually so simple to make, I was pretty surprised!

So this post is basically going to teach you how to....
All the ingredients you need are white (vanilla) cake mix, food coloring, frosting (your choice) & small containers

First of course ya gotta make the mix, then separate it into 6 different small containers, we used foam cups and add the food coloring to each cup. (when I took this picture we already used the red....oops)
Then you just add one cup at a time to the pan, spreading each layer evenly.
This is after one layer (DUH) and the next picture is after five.
Then just bake as directed and you should get this...
Let is cool off, then frost and enjoy!
Jenn's birthday is now officially a fire hazard! Haha She's a young age of 22! We had so much fun, we enjoyed some pizza and a game of charades with a twist! Being in their company is always great! She also got some awesome gifts from us and some others! All stuff for her first apartment! And now I'll leave you with another picture making you want to make that cake even more!

Much Love, Annette!
